There is sometimes, often even, a trade-off with summer gloves. You get lightness and breathability, but in order to achieve this the manufacturers will sacrifice features, and even protection. The Held Touch glove is for summer. It is not a mesh glove, so it’s perfect for warm days, less so perhaps for those days where the temperatures are up in the thirties. By the same token, of course, they are much more wearable on a cool day than a mesh or heavily vented glove. But despite the fact that the Touch is a humble, summer glove it has an impressive and comprehensive spec.. You get a hard, leather-covered, knuckle protector, a kangaroo palm, flat-seam fingers, perforations on the palm, Superfabric on the palm and wrist, and  accordion stretch for comfort. The glove is totally unlined for breathability; you also get a smartphone finger and thumb and a visor wipe. A humble summer glove this might be, but there’s nothing simple about the way it’s put together
