The Arsenal 30, in anybody’s book, is a large backpack, and in typical Klim fashion it is positively laden with detailed features. The main, zip compartment is large enough for everything you might need for a day out on the bike. This compartment contains three internal pockets, one of which is large enough to take a 15” laptop. A second smaller, zipped compartment on the back of the main one contains more pockets and straps. There are another two full-height compartments, again fastened by coil zips, that run up the sides of the pack.
A protected pocket at the top is designed to house a pair of goggles. The body-side of the back protector is heavily padded both for protection and for comfort. Between this and the main compartment is a sleeve that holds a 3.0 litre hydro pack, with a tube that can be brought out over either shoulder. The pack’s carry straps are also heavily padded and can, obviously, be adjusted for comfort. You also get an adjustable, waist belt.
The pack itself is no more than rain resistant, but a concealed rain cover can be placed over the pack to keep its contents totally dry. A pattern of reflective bands on the back of the pack will also ensure that you’re visible at night.
