This is the latest, 2021, CE-approved version of one of the most amazing, short motorcycle boots we have ever come across. In 2020, its predecessor was exclusive to Motolegends. It’s very much an off-road oriented boot, but designed for those who particularly want a boot that is going to be equally at home walking the trail. The inner shape of the boot comes from a worldwide research exercise known as Nestfit that set out to make footwear more closely resemble the shape of the foot. So the Outlander is a supremely comfortable boot, but it also happens to be probably the toughest, strongest short boot we’ve ever set eyes on, with amazingly solid, reinforcing counters in the toe and the heel. The ankles are protected with D3O cups. The ultra-grippy, Hypergrip outsole is incredibly stiff and has cut outs for the pegs. Waterproofing is supplied by GTX. The detailing on the Outlander beggars belief; there’s certainly too much to go into here. But the finishing touch is the BOA lacing system. This really is the mother of all short, off-road boots.
