The Yukon is made from a 325gsm Polartech Thermal Pro material, which means that it’s incredibly warm. Externally, it looks a bit like an Arcteryx top, but with its fleece lining, we reckon it’s much more insulating. If your jacket already has a thermal inner there’s a possibility that the Yukon could be too much; too thick and too warm. Of course, if your outer wear is from Klim you’ll just be wearing a shell, so beneath something like a Kodiak or Badlands this might be just what you need. It is, though, also a great street fleece. It’s comfy, looks the business and, as we’ve said, it’s very warm. On the shoulders you get stretch panels for extra comfort, and there’s a zip pocket on the chest. Klim point out that it’s highly breathable, and wicks very efficiently. It also dries out quickly if it does get wet.
