The Spring leggings from PMJ are quite special. We know this because they are exactly what we asked PMJ to produce. You see, there are lots of leggings out there on the market. The concept was first invented by MotoGirl in the US, since when almost everybody has copied them. But what all the other leggings have in common is that they are Kevlar lined, as a result of which they tend to be quite thick and heavy. In fact, in the summer, they can be horribly sweaty and uncomfortable. Which is why we asked PMJ to create a lighter weight single-layer legging. This is what they came up with, and we love it. The single-layer fabric is made using Cordura. The end result is a fabulously comfortable and lightweight legging. Yet they are, in every way, a properly protective motorcycling pant. Under the latest EN17092 regulations, they are rated as AA. They record a slide time of just over two seconds. There are more protective trousers on the market, but bear in mind that there is no such thing as a textile trouser with a safety rating higher than AA. They come with CE armour in both the knees and the hips. As a legging, the fit is obviously super-slim. The waist is fairly high rise, and they come with waist loops should you wish to wear a belt with them.
