The Richa Arctic is a full-on winter glove with a spec. that is more than a match for just about any glove on the market. For warmth, the Arctic is padded with Thinsulate. For waterproofing, there’s a Gore-Tex membrane. The construction is a textile/leather mix; leather on the palm for feel, but with a textile back that will absorb less moisture and prevent wetting out. There’s a large, soft D30 protector on the main knuckle, with smaller soft protectors on the finger joints. You also get Superfabric on the palm and on the outer edge of the wrist. On the palm, extra layers of leather have been applied for increased abrasion resistance. Extra layers of leather also run down the fronts of the fingers. Concertina stretch panels aid finger articulation. The gloves fasten with two Velcro straps. This a gorgeously comfortable and cosseting glove that is going to keep you warm, dry and, importantly, well protected.
