Rukka Kalix GTX Glove In Black

The Rukka Kalix glove is a short-cuff, summer, waterproof glove. It replaces the old Ceres glove. Made from a mix of a textile fabric called Taslan and cowhide, its waterproofing comes courtesy of a laminated, Gore-Tex membrane. It has a carbon protector on the main knuckle with softer protectors on the minor knuckles. On the palm you get extra layers of leather as well as a number of other absorbing pads, sliders and protectors. The finger and thumb are touchscreen sensitive, and there’s a large visor wipe. You also get 3M Scotchlite reflectors for better night time visibility. There are few gloves that are as well spec’d as the Kalix. Rukka has thrown everything at this glove. It features the best of everything, yet it is still incredibly comfortable to wear. Of course, it is not a cheap gloves, and there are lots of gloves that purport to do what the Kalix does for a lot less money. But in the margin the Rukka Kalix glove is probably better equipped and made than any of those would-be competitors. With those other gloves you don’t get Rukka’s unimpeachable reputation for quality. Most of those other gloves also don’t come with Rukka’s two-year warranty.
