Segura Butch Gloves In Brown

Not quite sure who is advising Segura on the choice of product names these days, but why would anybody call a glove the Butch. The glove is a winterised version of a glove called the Jango that we’ve offered for a number of years. It’s a very wearable, very comfortable glove that offers a bit of everything. With a chassis made from goatskin, it is indeed a very supple glove. But for added flexibility and comfort, the leather sits alongside Lycra-infused stretch panels. Unlike the Jango, the Butch glove has a waterproof membrane, so even though this isn’t the kind of glove you would commute in, it will keep your hands dry in a downpour. The gloves have also got a lightish, thermal lining;  again something that isn’t a feature of the Jango. But the beauty with this glove is that you could still probably wear it comfortably through the summer. Yes, in 30 degree plus heat it would find its limits, but it would be fine through most British summers. For protection, you get soft, Poron knuckle protectors; you also get on the palm a layer of a material known as Amara. This suede-like fabric increases the strength of the glove in the event of an accident, but it also enables the bars to be gripped more securely. Two fingers on the right-hand glove are touchscreen sensitive. The cuff is quite short, but is secured by means of a Velcro strap.
