Shoei Neotec 2/GT Air 2/J-Cruise 2 Sena SRL2 Comms System – SAVE £45 When Purchased With A New Shoei Helmet

The Sena SRL2 Bluetooth communication system was jointly developed by Sena and SHOEI specifically for the new SHOEI Neotec 2, GT Air 2 and J-Cruise 2 helmets. As with the Sena comms. unit in the Shoei Neotec 2, the SRL2 slots seamlessly into the helmet. All the routes for the cables are pre-channelled, the speakers clip into their prescribed slots, and the control unit and aerial simply replace the triangular plastic panels on either side of the helmet. This means that there’s no ugly unit on the side of the helmet; a unit that would only serve to increase wind noise.The SRL2 is based on Sena’s top-of-the-range 20s model. You can talk to up to seven other riders, or pair it to a phone to take calls or listen to music. It is estimated that the talk distance is around a mile. Obviously, you can also connect to a GPS unit to hear directions. If you’re clever enough, you can operate the intercom using voice commands. There’s an FM music channel, and the whole system has been designed to be compatible with non-Sena units, whilst Sena’s Advanced Noise Control technology also acts to cut out wind and road noise. If you order your comms. unit at the same time as a helmet, you will save the 20% VAT, because helmets are zero rated.
