Stadler Activ II GTX Gloves In Black

Stadler offer just three gloves. The new-for-2022 Activ 2 is the most winterised. It is constructed with goatskin on the palm, with areas of leather and a Neoprene-style fabric called Nyspan across the back of the glove, and on the wrist. The laminated membrane comes courtesy of Gore-Tex; it is what is known as a Gore-Grip membrane. For protection the Activ comes with SuperFabric on some fingers and on the palm. You also get a foam-backed, hard knuckle protector. A combination of the stretchy Nyspan material and various concertina bands make for a particularly comfortable glove. The longer wrist is fastened by means of two Velcro straps, meaning that this is a glove whose cuff will fit inside the sleeve of just about any technical jacket. The Activ 2 is billed as a winter glove, and indeed with its Thermoplush fleece lining it sort of is. But it is not going to be the warmest of gloves. It will provide sufficient insulation for some, but certainly not for all. This is a winter glove for those who do not want to sacrifice feel on the controls.
